Suffragan Bishop David Rhone
Though he experienced cumbersome adversities, Suffragan Bishop Rhone remained faithful to the call of the Lord on his life and as a result of this endurance; God has blessed and anointed him beyond measure. He began his preparation for leadership by serving as Pentecostal Young People’s Union Vice President then Southern Region Chairman for the California District Council (16th Episcopal District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc.) He afterward served as Youth and Young Adult Pastor for the City of Refuge of Los Angeles, CA under the leadership of Bishop Noel Jones.
In Spring 2002, Suffragan Bishop Rhone accepted his call to the pastorate and on January 4, 2003 became the founder and pastor of the Tabernacle of Praise Worship Center in the heart of Los Angeles, California.
On January 16, 2014, Suffragan Bishop Rhone was elevated to Suffragan Bishop over the Central California District Council (16B Episcopal District of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World Inc..
He has had numerous accomplishments in his ministerial career. No one can deny the fact that he is best characterized by the powerful praise and intense worship that is always associated with his ministry presentation. Indisputably the essence of Suffragan Bishop Rhone’s ministry can be illustrated in three main facets; Prayer, Praise and Passion for the people of God.
In this generation, God is raising up dynamic, powerful, and profound young men and women to declare the gospel of Jesus Christ to a dying world. In this new millennium, God is establishing new and progressive ministries whose chief aim and goal is to prepare the body of Christ for the imminent return of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, Suffragan Bishop David Rhone is one of these individuals.
Called and chosen by God at a young age, Suffragan Bishop Rhone began his work for the Lord in the area of music ministry, but quickly migrated to the realm of preaching and exhortation. From his humble beginnings until present, Suffragan Bishop Rhone has exhibited an intense fire and passion for the work of the Lord that cannot be quenched.
